Company Info
LG Chem was spun off from LG Chemical in 2001, and in 2020, its battery business division was physically spun off to form LG Energy Solution. Its petrochemical business produces PE, PVC, and ABS, selling PCR products and those utilizing bio-naphtha. The advanced materials business develops and produces cathode materials, battery materials, and IT/semiconductor materials, focusing on expanding high-nickel cathode material sales and developing electronic materials. The company, headquartered in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul Metropolitan City, is improving profitability through high-value product sales growth and cost reductions.
