Company Info
Established in 1987 for the production of motors and transformer cores, KBI Metal is a foreign-invested corporation listed on KOSDAQ in 1994. Its Metal Business Division specializes in copper rods for wire manufacturing, supplying small and medium-sized wire companies for 37 years. The Electrical Parts Business Division produces automotive electrical components and motor cores, while the Wire Business Division manufactures high-voltage cable and communication lines in Vietnam. KBI Metal holds approximately 45% market share in the copper wire market for electrical wires, uniquely possessing SCR and JCR lines, and is headquartered in Dalseong-gun, Daegu.
