Company Info
This company, established in 1970 and renamed Samsung SDI in 1999, operates 23 subsidiaries across Hungary, the US, Malaysia, and China. It has two main business divisions: Energy Solutions (93% of sales), which produces and sells lithium-ion secondary batteries, and Electronic Materials (7%), which manufactures and sells semiconductor and display materials. The company expands application areas by securing high-safety, high-capacity, and high-output technologies, responding to the market with differentiated prismatic cell technology. Samsung SDI is headquartered in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do.
