The company is pursuing process carbon neutrality and carbon reduction for electric arc furnace-based products with a two-track strategy, and is constructing an electric arc furnace steel mill, aiming for commercial production in early 2029. Hyundai Steel was established in 1953 and is headquartered in Dong-gu, Incheon.
