Hanwha Investment & Securities was founded in 1962, listed in 1986, and adopted its current name in 2012. The company operates in investment trading, brokerage, and collective investment, conducting business across its WM, Trading, Wholesale, and IB divisions. It is expanding into the Southeast Asian market through the acquisition of a Vietnamese brokerage, investment in a Singaporean entity, and equity acquisition in Indonesia. Furthermore, Hanwha Investment & Securities provides digital financial services through equity investments and partnerships with fintech companies. The company is headquartered in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
