Kolon Global was established in 1960 as Hyeopwha Industrial Co., Ltd., undergoing name changes to Kolon Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. in 1982 and Kolon Global in 2011. The company operates a comprehensive construction business covering residential, building, civil engineering, plant, marine environment projects, and renewable energies like wind power. It also engages in general trading of steel, chemicals, and general merchandise, alongside sports center operations. Since 2015, Kolon Global has seen annual new orders exceeding 2 trillion won, improving construction sector profitability through business structure optimization and risk management.
