Samseong Pharmaceutical was founded as Samseong Pharmaceutical Office in 1929, incorporated in 1954, and listed on the KOSPI market in 1975. The company operates in pharmaceutical manufacturing and sales, bio business, and health food sales, holding 11 affiliated companies including its largest shareholder, GemVax & KAEL Co., Ltd. It markets over 80 product groups of specialized prescription drugs, such as antibiotics and prostate treatment drugs, via CSO marketing. Over-the-counter drugs like Kkasmyeongsu and Panto-A are supplied to pharmacies and convenience stores through an exclusive agreement with Jeil Health Science. Samseong Pharmaceutical is headquartered in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.
